Negative thoughts are our downfall. But when you learn to recognise them and shut them down, this is when the magic happens. You must realise you are capable of changing those thoughts that tell you false things like, I’m not good enough.
These limiting self-beliefs are not real! They are just thoughts, and they can be changed! Change these negative thoughts into positive ones to improve your self-esteem, and your whole world will change.
2. Know Your Strengths
Confident women have something in common: they all focus on their strengths instead of their weaknesses. What good will focusing on your weaknesses do you?
Focusing on your strengths will show you what areas you shine in. The strengths that you naturally have are your value, and they are what make you special. To improve self-esteem, focus on the value you have to give, not your shortcomings.

Comparing yourself to others is slowly ripping away your joy. You are just starting out, and you may want to compare yourself with other women who have already achieved.
But, the problem is, success takes time. Comparing yourself to others holds no value for your success. The more you compare, the less confidence you will have!
The focus is on you, always. Don’t focus on how far others have come. You are not following the same path they are, you are taking your own path.
7. Step Out Of Your Comfort Zone
Sometimes, it’s scary to take a leap. Stepping out of your comfort zone is one of the most valuable experiences you can have for yourself. When you leave your comfort zone, you learn a lot about yourself, your capabilities, and you ultimately experience growth.
The greatest confidence boost is when you accomplish something that you never thought you could! There is growth in the uncomfortable moments. Teach yourself to step out of your comfort zone and try new things.

Once you realise how expansive you are, your confidence will soar. No matter what happens outside of your comfort zone, you know that you have your own back. You are your own inspiration because you can handle anything.

We truly need to have faith in ourselves in order to grow. Confidence comes from trying something new, nailing it, and realising you have so many amazing abilities.
If you don’t succeed the first time, have faith a second time. Confidence gets you to the other side, where you will reach success, and all you need is faith in yourself.
Think about the people in your life that you love. I bet you have faith in them; you have faith they are good people, you have faith they will live a successful life, and you have faith they can achieve anything.

Loving yourself is a form of self-respect. Practice self-care as often as possible because you are worthy of it.
Dive in to help others – Do things that make a difference for you and for others. Your self-esteem will soar when you use your value to provide for others. Find a sense of accomplishment and pride in the work you do helping others.
Don’t risk feeling bad about yourself because you wish to be in the position of someone else. Nobody is YOU and that is your power. Let others inspire you to do great, but do not envy them. You cannot compare anyone else’s journey to your own.
Do something each day that scares you. It’s okay to take baby steps! The goal is to try. If you don’t try new things, how will anything ever change? Believe it or not, trying new things is a major confidence booster. Why? Because when you accomplish things you thought you couldn’t you will feel a rush of pride.
There is so much good that comes from stepping out of your comfort zone, surviving, and knowing you can go back for more! Because you did it! Things get less and less intimidating.
Once you begin trying new things, you will realise you have a great deal of faith in yourself. You have your best interest in mind. You are always taking good care of yourself. You are capable of things you weren’t even aware of!
